Joy Harrison Hoffman

Joy Harrison Hoffman grew up in Baltimore and spent most of her time with horses and dancing until she found baseball. Her love of baseball is something she carries with her even today.

She received a BS in English from Towson University and spent most of her leisure time working in the Sports Information Department where she kept the official scorebook and charted pitches for the baseball team. She spent many days watching games at Memorial Stadium.

Joy currently lives outside of Nashville, TN but spent ten years living and working in New York. She is divorced and has a grown daughter, Michelle, who lives in Colorado.

Joy is an author of both children’s fiction and adult fiction. Her favorite subjects for her children’s fiction are animals. Her adult fiction ranges from drama to murder mysteries.
